Jack Tweed has revealed his late wife, Jade Goody, wouldn’t want her mum, Jackiey Budden, fighting with her ex, Jeff Brazier, over their son, Freddy. Jeff is said to be taking legal action against Jackiey after growing concern for his youngest son, 20, who is spending a lot of time with his grandmother.
Jackiey vowed to ‘ let rip ‘ over her relationship with her grandkids after calling Jeff a “c**k”, however Jack, 37, has said Jade wouldn’t want her family at war. The reality star, who was only married to Jade for one month before she heartbreakingly died aged just 27 after losing her battler with cancer, said he can understand why Jeff has sought legal advice over Jackiey’s access to Freddy.
However, defending Jackiey he told The Sun: “Jackie has been through a lot herself, which everyone forgets. She obviously lost use of her arm and had a motorbike crash and lost people close to her when she was younger and then she lost her daughter as well, so she has had a hard life”.
Insisting Jade wouldn’t want people to speak about her mum badly or be cut out of her sons ‘ lives, he said: “It’s hard cos I’d never ever sit here and slag Jackiey off because I wouldn’t ever do that to Jade, it’s not fair on Jade. Jade wouldn’t like that”.
Jeff is reportedly fighting to stop Freddy from seeing his grandmother with an insider alleging their relationship has been “detrimental to him”.
Claiming the Postcode Lottery star has “had enough”, Jack said Jackiey “might let the boys get away with things most parents wouldn’t” claiming: “I think Jeff has finally had enough now where he’s been been doing the right thing and obviously it’s her nan, they love their nan and it’s Jade’s mum, so you can’t stop him seeing her, seeing he never wanted to, but I think he’s just got to the stage now where he’s not really got too much choice.
” He’s just concentrating on the well-being of Freddy rather than making sure Jackiey’s all right and seeing the boys. “
On Friday, Freddy admitted to suffering from” severe mental health “as he revealed he had ADHD and bipolar.
Addressing his followers in his back garden, he said:” Just coming on to say that seizures – or any illness – shouldn’t be made a joke or something to laugh about, “he said.
He then revealed:” Me myself, I suffer from serious mental health, and I’ve got ADHD and bipolar. And it’s not nice when people want to belittle you or talk down on you because of it. “
Meanwhile, Jackiey has insisted her house is a ‘ safe place ‘ for her grandson, telling the Mail:” My house is safe for Freddy, and it always has been since he was little.
“The boy is an adult now, and Jeff treats him like he’s ten. It made sense seven years ago when Freddy was still 13 when Jeff first tried to stop him from seeing me, but now he’s 20 years old.
