Jack Osbourne’s son, Jack, has spoken out for the first time about the devastating message from an A-Lister he read out at his music icon father’s funeral.

The heartfelt message read at Ozzy’s funeral has been revealed by Jack Osbourne.

Jack Osbourne has spoken out for the first time since the tragic death of his rock icon dad Ozzy Osbourne as he shared a touching message from his funeral. The Black Sabbath legend died in July aged 76 just weeks after performing his last ever show.

He had moved back to his beloved England with wife Sharon before his death and performed with his band at his farewell Back to the Beginning gig at Villa Park just 17 days before. Ozzy’s family held a private funeral just a week on from his death at their Buckinghamshire home.

In front of Birmingham fans who lined the streets of Ozzy’s hometown, they had paid their respects. Jack has now revealed that he was in Los Angeles at the time of his father’s passing for the first time in candiating about the enormous loss.

No one expected it to happen as quickly as it did, he said, adding that it shocked the family. Jack revealed the impact of the support that was felt following Ozzy’s passing.

“He was loved so much and a lot of people are going to miss him,” he said on his YouTube channel. “There’s this quote that I actually quoted this and of all people that said it and I don’t it’s always stuck stuck with me.

At my father’s funeral, I actually shared this. Keanu Reeves is in an interview. What do you think happens when you die, asks the man on a nighttime talk show or whatever?

“And Keanu Reeves said, “I don’t know what happens when you die, but the people who love you miss you the most””?

Jack, who was emotional, said, “I felt that incredibly. To me, he was more than just a father. He was a coworker. We had a lot of roles to play together.

I recently moved; there was a time when I had to move back in with him while he was between houses. He was also my housemate when I was in my late 30s, which was awesome. Here were the children and me. Just a friend, a text buddy, and a joker.

I’m so grateful for our relationship, Jack continued. I believe that is what gave me the most satisfaction.

“I’m so thankful that he was my father,” I exclaim in deed. Jack heartbreakingly revealed that Jack was in Los Angeles when he learned that Ozzy had passed away.

After deciding against traveling to Portugal because his kids were sick, he returned to the US and stayed with Ozzy until his final performance. Jack admitted, “I’ve never been so appreciative of my kids getting the stomach flu as I am now.”

In addition to the day Ozzy passed away, Jack recalled that when I woke up in Los Angeles, my house door knocked on at around 3:45. Someone who has been working for my family for the gods for about 30 years was knocking on my door.

I just knew something bad had happened when I looked through my window and realized it was him. My father passed away, I was informed.

“Just sadness, pain, and so many thoughts,” the phrase goes. You experience this feeling of depressed, angry, and anger that seems to me necessary at this very moment.
