Jack Osbourne took part in I’m A Celeb and was the joint seventh to leave alongside Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley, exiting during the quarter final, leaving behind just four campmates
Jack Osbourne has revealed that he broke a big rule on I’m A Celeb. The podcast host was the joint seventh to leave, exiting alongside actress Lisa Riley. After exiting the Jungle, Jack revealed that he had brought a burner phone with him when he flew out to Australia. He then pretended it was his personal phone when his belongings were taken from him, so that he could keep using his actual mobile in the hotel.
I’m A Celeb contestants are not supposed to contact their friends and family whilst waiting to go into the camp, as if they do, they could find out details about the Bushtucker trials and prepare. To enforce this rule, contestants are supposed to have their phones taken from them.

But Jack, after landing in Australia late following a flight cancellation, was able to circumvent the rule. In an interview with The Sun, he added that he chose to stay in contact with his mum Sharon and wife Aree.
He said: “I had work to do, I was doing a bunch of s***. I was calling Aree, I was calling my mum, I was calling the kids. I gave them a secondary phone when I landed. I was like, yeah, there’s my phone.”
Upon leaving the Jungle, Jack also revealed that his wife is pregnant with their second child together. Aree is 28 weeks pregnant and was able to tell Jack’s father, Ozzy, that she was expecting a child before he died in July this year.
Jack told The Sun that it was “healing” to be expecting a child whilst dealing with the death of his father. “It’s awesome. I think it’s been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing.
“Probably in that kind of ‘full cycle’ category, in a weird way. It’s very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked in a bit more hopefulness.”
Ozzy Osbourne died in July this year, after suffering a heart attack. He died just weeks after performing his final concert in Birmingham. Before heading out to the Jungle he told food blogger Kelly Rizzo that he had been dealing with his grief by staying busy.
Some fans found Jack’s constant hovering in the kitchen whilst on I’m A Celeb difficult to watch, but others felt this was a symptom of Jack not coping too well. Alison Hammond shared this view, saying on Unpacked that she thought it was “too soon” after Ozzy’s death for Jack to be on the show.
