After struggling with addiction, Jack Fincham, the reality star, admitted he needs rehab after relapsing over Christmas, to winning Love Island in 2018.
Jack Fincham has admitted he is spiralling into drink and drugs, with the troubled Love Island star having just £20 to his name. The 33-year-old, has said he has been drinking heavily since December, and can’t afford rehab after his millions from the ITV reality show have dwindled away, leaving him broke.
Jack, who won Love Island in 2018 alongside ex Dani Dyer, has been battling with drink and drugs, and after a long stint of being clean and sober, attempted to go out for a drink. Believing he’d “won the battle”, he went on a night out – but soon realised he’d made a huge mistake after being photographed kissing a woman.

The reality star, who has been in an on/off relationship with TOWIE’s Chloe Brockett since 2019, was spotted kissing MAFS UK bride Leisha. Jack, who admits he is “mortified”, doesn’t even remember the kiss.
Speaking to the Sun, Jack explained how he needs rehab but only has £20 to his name, and “nothing in the bank”. He told the paper that after his drink, he “spiralled”, saying: “Since then I have done drugs, I have done laughing gas.”
He continued, “I feel stupid. I am a 33-year-old man. I should be “moved to a settled down” and “married.”
The star recalls how he spent the night “up on the bar dancing” before turning to tequila shots. He’s since received sleeping pills from his doctor and a zika stick for the past two years.
Jack continued, saying he was envious of the first Love Island series viewers, even though he acknowledged it to be a “dreadful” thought. He stated that he would like to be “successful on TV” once more, but that he is only beginning a new job as an engineer to regain some routine and control over his life.
In 2019, things started to turn awry for Jack when his ex-girlfriend, Dani, gave him an ultimatum during a “cocaine binge.” In a sincere interview with The Sun in February of that year, Jack admitted to using cocaine on a wild night out and promised never to try it again. He claimed he had made a “terrible, terrible error.”
Jack, who was just recently made a statement, said, “I’m in a new world of partying and stuff, and being in circles that I wouldn’t normally have been in. Although I’d never normally be in these circumstances, I’ve been given cocaine a lot since winning the show.
“But I went out all night, I was drinking, and I just got carried away and committed a stupid error, which I wish I had never done,” you know. I regret it.
In recent years, Jack has had numerous legal issues. After being alleged to be acting suspiciously in a South London car park in the early hours of July 2021, the police interrogated Jack. His family was informed that no crime had been committed, and the police notified him of this.
After being found guilty of driving while under the influence of drugs, Jack was given the order to complete 250 hours of community service in March 2024. He is prohibited from driving through October 2029. He won the case in March 2025 after the victim accepted an apology after his cane corso dog bit a runner in September 2022.
Additionally, conditions were set, including the requirement that Elvis be muzzled. However, Jack was later charged after a second incident at Grays in Essex in June 2024 caused by his dog to become intoxicated.
Jack was given a total of £3, 680, including a £2, 000 donation to kennelling costs, a £961 fine, and £200 compensation for the victim, Mr. Sudell. Jack “has no savings,” according to Richard Cooper, who defends. He was given the option to pay monthly instalments, which were initially set at £400. She mandated that the dog be kept on a lead, muzzled in public, and not left alone with anyone under the age of 16;
