Captain Maro Itoje will first “savour the moment” of their third Test series victory over the Wallabies, which means a 3-0 clean sweep against Australia.

The British and Irish Lions held a 2-0 lead in the three-game series thanks to a stunning victory of 29-26 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

The Lions have won the first two series Tests since 1997 in South Africa for the first time.

The result is “what dreams are made of,” according to the captain of the Saracens and England.

He continued, “Faz]head coach Andy Farrell] called when we first met to say that he wanted us to come out here and win everything.

Don’t get me wrong, we want to go back next week, but I’m completely happy with this outcome.

“One of your life’s moments will you cherish,” This will be forever remembered.

You have to move on and concentrate on the next task in sport frequently. After a celebration, there’s no denying that. It’s important to take in the moment from time to time.

South Africa won its third Test 35-16 in 1997 when the Lions lost three of their key players, Tim Rodber, Gregor Townsend, and Keith Wood.

On August 2, Farrell stated that the plan for the week ahead will remain unchanged. The third Test will be played in Sydney. We can trust the future, whether it is won or lost.

The Lions won all eight of their games played on Australian soil, despite losing in their opening warm-up match against Argentina in Dublin.

When the Wallabies took a 23-13 lead in the opening minute, Farrell’s side brilliantly defended before full-back Hugo Keenan crossed for the try that would prove crucial in the dying seconds.

For the first time in a Lions team’s history to not lose on a tour abroad since 1974 if they are to avoid defeat in the final Test.

Farrell continued, “You can see what it means for everyone.” These men have always wanted to be British and Irish Lions.

With 90, 000 people attending the MCG and a dramatic conclusion like that, the series is what dreams are made of.

Keenan’s “roller” ride ends in glory.

Ireland’s Keenan had a stuttering start to the tour due to a persistent calf injury followed by a bout of illness.

Elliot Daly made a strong claim for the full-back jersey in his absence, but Keenan was left with a tour-ending injury and Blair Kinghorn’s less serious knee issue.

In a dramatic finale, he incorporated his name into Lions folklore at the MCG.

He claimed, “It’s been a crazy trip.” It came in camp with some injuries and went untreated for two weeks, which is not how I had anticipated.

I’ve had a rollercoaster, but I suppose there’s a reason for it, and thankfully, for the past two Tests, I’ve been healthy.
