Does the US claim that all people have the right to free speech, but not everyone else?

A chilling question is emerging in a nation that values democracy, freedom of speech, and the right to protest: Who is speaking and who is being silenced?

More than 1, 000 foreign students and recent graduates in the United States have reportedly had their visas suspended or their legal status altered. In addition, American citizens have been subjected to arrests at airports and border crossings, questioned about their political beliefs, and had their phones searched for Donald Trump-related content. Do First Amendment rights seem to be slipping away quietly?
