The Green Bay Packers have signed Irish kicker Mark McNamee to an NFL contract.
The Wicklow-born 25-year-old participated in the NFL Combine in March as part of the 2025 International Player Pathway program.
McNamee, a former goalkeeper for Ballyboden St. Endas in Gaelic, signed for the Packers on Tuesday after spending one more month with the BC Lions in the Canadian Football League.
Dan Whelan, who was born in Wicklow and has spent the past two seasons making 119 punts for Green Bay, makes him the second Irishman on their roster.
There are now four Irish kickers or punters making their living in the NFL, along with Charlie Smyth of the New Orleans Saints and Jude McAtamney of the New York Giants.
