Aoife Wafer is ruled out due to injury, but Ireland coach Scott Bemand has named two uncapped players in his matchday squad for Saturday’s Women’s Six Nations game against Scotland.
Aoife Corey, who was dropped behind Stacey Flood, will make her Edinburgh debut at full-back.
Vicky Elmes Kinlan will start for the first time in her Six Nations debut on the wing in place of Anna McGann in the only other change to the backline following last weekend’s win away to Wales.
Loose-head prop Niamh O’Dowd will once again wear the number one jersey, joining Linda Djougang and Neve Jones in the front row.
With Dorothy Wall returning to blind-side flanker while number eight Wafer is missing due to a knee injury sustained last week at Rodney Parade, Fiona Tuite joins Ruth Campbell in the second row.
Edel McMahon, the captain, is lining up as the open-side flanker, making the switch from the six to the eight.
Jane Clohessy, the daughter of former Ireland international prop Peter Clohessy, has been chosen to replace her and will make her debut if requested.
Leia Brebner-Holden and Rachel Malcolm, the back half of Scotland, have joined them.
After already defeating Italy and Wales on the road, Ireland are aiming for a third campaign win.
Ireland: Corey, Elmes Kinlan, Dalton, Breen, Costigan, O’Brien, O’Dowd, Jones, Djougang, Campbell, Tuite, Wall, McMahon (capt), Hogan.
