Vicky acknowledges that getting married is an “extraterrestrial experience.”

Geordie Shore star, Vicky, is known for being open with her fans about her private life and hasn’t shied away from lifting the lid on her married life with Ercan, 31.

Speaking to BBC Radio 4’s Women’s Hour, the reality star admitted the first six months after getting hitched had been “difficult”, saying: “I don’t think it’s how anyone anticipates, their first six months of marriage, you know, it’s a very alien experience.

I mean, it has been challenging, frustrating, upsetting, and overwhelming.

After creating a deep-fake sex tape of herself while producing a documentary about the effects of image-based sexual abuse, Vicky also faced a barrage of criticism.

However, the stunt didn’t go well with a lot of viewers because many accused the influencer of planning a “publicity stunt.”

Vicky acknowledged that she hadn’t been a “joy to live with” during the ordeal, saying, “I haven’t been a joy to live with quite frankly and I do feel for my husband, but he’s very supportive.

Vicky has admitted that she and her husband are sleeping separately despite having been married for less than a year. The reality star revealed that the showbiz couple are spending their nights apart, despite the fact that most newlyweds are unable to keep their hands off each other.

Explaining that their dogs are getting in the way of any potential nookie between the pair, she told OK! magazine: “We’re just desperate to sleep in the same bed together. I sleep with the dogs and he sleeps in the spare room!”

Vicky gushed, “We love each other for our differences,” while praising her husband for bringing out the best in her. He’s allowing me to be calmer, more composed, and reflective. I like to think I’m empowering him to be more ambitious and proactive.

Not yet trying to help kids

Before the couple decided to start IVF, Vicky has revealed that she had frozen her eggs. The Geordie star admitted that many of her friends initially believed she would start trying for children once she got married.

Vicky asserted that this is not the case. She stated that the couple wanted to spend at least a year together before starting a family, and that they also wanted to squeeze in a lavish honeymoon in the Caribbean. “Everyone thought we’d try for kids quite quickly, so did we! However, we’ll enjoy getting married for at least a year.
