- Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne’s paths first crossed in 1970 when her father was scouted as the manager for Ozzy’s band, Black Sabbath. The pair wouldn’t begin dating until nine years later, in 1979, after Ozzy was kicked out of his band amid severe struggles with substances.
- Sharon stepped in as his solo manager, helping him rebuild his career and recovery. Sparks flew immediately — despite Ozzy still being legally married to his first wife, Thelma Riley.
- Just months after Ozzy’s divorce was finalised, he and Sharon married in Hawaii in 1982. Over the next three years, the newly wed’s would welcome their three children — Aimee, Kelly and Jack.
- Behind the scenes, they battled intense highs and lows, including Ozzy’s arrest in 1989 for strangling Sharon while under the influence of drugs and alcohol. He entered rehab and the couple briefly separated but reunited soon after.
- The family shot to global superstardom in 2002 with the launch of hit show The Osbourne’. The MTV reality show gave viewers an unprecedented look into their fun-filled and chaotic family life. Aimee declined to take part, but Kelly and Jack became breakout stars.
- The 2010s brought turbulence for the duo: divorce rumours swirled in 2013, and in 2016 Sharon split from Ozzy after multiple affair reports emerged. Months later, they were back on track, with Ozzy publicly expressing his regret. In 2017, they renewed their wedding vows in Las Vegas, calling it a fresh start.
- Ozzy’s deteriorating health was revealed to the public in 2023, with Sharon describing his battles with Parkinson’s as challenging but ultimately strengthening their bond.
- On 22 July 2025, the Osbourne family announced that Ozzy had died aged 76. Sharon has since spoken out about her grief and revealed Ozzy was determined to perform his final concert against his doctors warnings.
