The wedding of Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty is expected to be lavish. The happy couple is getting ready for a lavish wedding on December 27 at Bath Abbey, followed by a lavish reception at Kin House Country Estate.
The Olympian, 30, and the model, who is also the daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, 25, are planning one of the most high-profile festive weddings of the year – with A-list guests, luxury venues, and meticulous preparations already underway. The pair, who met through Holly’s sister Tilly during Strictly Come Dancing in 2021, have become something of a celebrity power couple and are now counting down the days to their Christmas wedding.
According to The Daily Mail, Peaty and Ramsay have also created a lavish wedding gift list that includes everything from a £1, 896 Big Green Egg barbecue and a £995 mahogany table to a £42 photo frame and a £23 budget option.
Many of the items are intended for their stylish Kegworth home, which the couple share, and the selection appears designed to suit guests ranging from David and Victoria Beckham to Gordon Ramsay. The pair have even included a £350 Japandi rattan baby chest changer, hinting at future family plans. Several high-end gifts from lifestyle brand Nkuku also feature on the list, alongside luxury home pieces such as an £800 cream recliner chair and a £130 rattan log basket.
However, a bitter dispute has surrounded the Peaty family. Only his sister will be present, though Adam is reportedly scheduled to get married to Holly.
Caroline Peaty, the mother of Adam’s son, was reportedly barred from the wedding after Holly Ramsay’s glamorous hen do at Soho Farmhouse. After extended Peaty family members weren’t given an invitation to the engagement party, tensions reportedly started to wane.
I texted Holly, saying, “You know how significant family is to you as it is to me. My sisters have attended every event since Adam’s birth, but they aren’t coming to the party.
She continued, “But Adam didn’t like that message I sent him. After Caroline’s absence from the wedding, tensions increased, and Adam Peaty’s father, Mark, did not show up for the stag.
She and Adam had argued about how to dress for the big day because she wanted to wear a cream outfit. He had offered to pay for four outfits for the entire day, but he turned down the offer, stating that Holly must be the only one who should wear white.
Adam Peaty was met by five police officers at the airport after leaving his stag do, reportedly out of concern for his safety, which increased the tension.
He was allegedly being contacted by his brother, 34-year-old builder James, who was detained on suspicion of harassment and questioned by police for two days before being released on conditional bail.
This conflict between Adam and Holly is heartbreaking on both sides, according to a source close to Adam and Holly. However, in reality, Adam believes that Caroline, his mother, is helping him with his brother’s deeds rather than putting him to sleep.
