This Wimbledon-ready Abercrombie &, Fitch buy is what I’d suggest adding to your basket this month if you’re feeling the urge to treat yourself now that payday has arrived.
After what seems like an eternity, payday has finally arrived, and if you’re anything like me, you’ve already spent half of your paycheck. I’m also making a pledge to shop more consciously this year and prevent buying too many things I’ll only ever wear or use once. So I’m only getting one treat (possibly two) each month.
To be able to see what’s available this month, I have to browse through the new-in sections as part of my job. For June’s payday treat, one co-ord specifically caught my attention. And it arrived just in time for Wimbledon to begin.
Abercrombie’s strawberry-print waistcoat and skort are the pair’s matching sets. The set includes the Tailored Linen-Blend Mini Skort for $ 52 and the Linen-Blend High-Neck Vest for $ 60.
This linen blend set is ideal for warmer weather, whether you’re sitting courtside at Wimbledon, having a picnic in the park, or taking a stroll through cobbled streets on vacation. The ideal fabric for the summer is linen because of its natural breathability and moisture-wicking qualities.

Other recent additions include Abbott Lyon’s Ocean Cluster Pendant Necklace, £49, and Hannah Cooper Dommett x Warehouse’s Premium Hand Embellished Scoop Neck Mini Dress, £29. However, my wishlist for this month was topped of Abercrombie’s heatwave-perfect matching set.
The skort has built-in shorts, which makes it ideal for those who struggle with chafing thighs, especially in hot weather. Although skorts are frequently very casual and relaxed, this mini’s skirt appears much more refined and polished because the shorts are hidden.
Additionally, the waistcoat has a tie detail at the back, giving you the option of adding as much or little as you like to the silhouette.
However, I really like the adorable micro-strawberries print, which perfectly fits the Wimbledon “strawberries and cream” theme. If the print isn’t really your thing, you can also purchase the set in a trendy black and white polka dot print or plain white linen.
