An I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Loose Women star has fast forwarded to her senior years ahead of entering her mid-to-late 20s on her imminent next birthday
Loose Women and I’m A Celeb star GK Barry was more than happy to poke fun at herself as she celebrated her latest birthday. And while she may still be a woman in her prime, the TV star appeared to have her mind on the future – as she dressed up as a grandmother on her big day.
Taking to social media on Sunday, GK – whose real name is Grace Keeling – shared a string of photos and video clips of herself partying up a storm. The star is set to turn 26 on Tuesday – but was celebrating in advance.
She had an OAP themed party and was joined by celebrity friends and her 2025 UEFA Women’s European Championship star girlfriend Ella Rutherford, 25. With a grey wig, a blow up walking stick and an wearing a pink cardigan, GK was ready to party in elderly style. It comes after ITV makes major decision on I’m A Celebrity’s future after talks with officials.

Sharing content on her Instagram, she wrote: “Surprise bday party for nana gk x thank u to @theprincelondon for having us and sorry for what you witnessed.”
Ex-Gogglebox star Joe Baggs was among those celebrating with her – and he too was dressed as a granny for the event. Snaps showed him dancing alongside GK – and they were joined by TikTok sensation Kaine Ruddach.
GK – who rose to fame as the host of the Saving Grace podcast – was also joined by some of her fellow contestants from the 2024 season of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Radio host Melvin Odoom joined he – but didn’t dress up as a grandparent, but he did comment on her social media post, writing: “My fellow [Leo].”
And GK poked fun at herself when Joe wrote in the comments: “THE STARE AT THE CAKE AHAHAH” – as she typed back: “Nothing behind those eyes x.”
Photos showed GK and her girlfriend Ella posing together – and social media posts revealed how much the pair are in love. Ella uploaded content to her own Instagram page, writing: “Threw a surprise party for my babes @gkbarry_.
“Nothing but good vibes and good people. Thank you @theprincelondon for helping me make this happen.” And GK reacted to the post, writing: “Best girlfriend everrrrr… love you” – alongside a red heart emoji.
GK and Ella have been an item since the summer of 2024 and publicly confirmed their romance last August. And they have social media to thank for bringing them together.
Grazia reports that after GK followed Ella online, the footballer thought to herself “who is this sexy blonde girl?” and then contacted her to ask: “Is now a good time to tell you how beautiful you are?” – with Grace reportedly replying: “It’s always a good time.”
They later explained how difficult it was to coordinate a first date – with the story unfolding when Ella was a guest on the Saving Grace podcast.
Ella admitted: “I felt great after that date. I thought ‘life’s turned around here’ and my mum caught me smiling at my phone all the time and said, ‘Who is making you smile?'”
