Idris Elba has won yet another victory as he declares his acting future in 2025 despite being linked to the vacant James Bond role.
Hollywood star Idris Elba has added another win to his belt, as well as his recent Knighthood. The Luther star, 53, has been revealed as this year’s Smile of the Year winner in the male category.
Dentakay, a dental office, gave the actor the most attractive and balanced smile. To win the award, he surpassed a select group of famous people. Along with Daniel Sturridge and Bukayo Saka, he defeated Paul Mescal and Harry Styles.
Simone Ashley of Bridgerton received the award in the female category. She won the hearts of Nicola Coughla, Dua Lipa, Munroe Bergdorf, Raye, and others.

When we examine Simone Ashley’s teeth, we notice a natural alignment that is not particularly white, with micro-asymmetries and small individual differences in each tooth, according to Dr. Gülay Akay, the founder of Dentakay.
It’s natural, not flawless, as they say. We as dentists particularly enjoy seeing her with a full smile and no dark buccal corridors. She continued, “And of Idris, she went on:” With Idris Elba, his central incisors are sufficiently long and his canines are prominent, supporting his masculine appearance. His gum contours are proportional, and his smiles are only visible when he smiles. Overall, his face and smile are in perfect harmony, giving him a strong, charismatic, and masculine appearance.
Idris has opened up about his plans for a life away from acting, despite still claiming accolades. The Hollywood icon expressed a desire to pursue a career elsewhere despite having one of the highest grossing actors and continuing to spread rumors that he will become the next James Bond.
In a Q&A at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia on 10 December, Idris shared that he wanted to hang up his acting hat and hoped his fans wouldn’t be “mad” at him. While promoting Dust To Dreams, he said: “I’m hoping that my fan base as an actor isn’t made at me.
However, I want to completely transition to become a director someday. I’ve been performing for a while. Although I still enjoy it, I believe that being in charge allows me to flex slightly different muscles and participate in the set differently. I really like it.
And in November, he tried to pour cold water on the Bond links too. He told the Mirror: “I can’t believe I am still being asked this at 53!
“You commit to a decade of making movies, sometimes a little longer,” says Bond. Nobody wants to see Bond “circling” in his mid-thirties.
Since Craig’s departure in 2021, following his impressive performance in No Time To Die, the next 007 actor has been in the air. Fans continue to debinate who the next main star will be as Bond 26 filming is scheduled to begin in 2027 ahead of a 20 release date 28.
