From feeding fans in the crowd fruit to ending the night with a celeb-filled boat party on the Thames, Usher kicked off his run in the capital with a bang.
The lengthy setlist included hits such as You Make Me Wanna, Yeah, Burn, Confessions II, U Got It Bad and OMG. But it wasn’t just his singing that hit the high notes, his performance and showmanship were another level.
From his multiple outfit changes, to his interactions with the crowd, pumped up Usher kept the energy levels up throughout the two hour set, so much so he was dripping in sweat for most of it.
Switching from a sequin suit for the opening, to Union Jack emblazoned leathers for a rollerskating section to a floor length fur coat as he wandered through the crowd, Usher was full of swagger and charm.
He got fans hot under the collar with his raunchy routines, which saw him topless, grind against a mic stand and grab his crotch. And the star most definitely still has got sex appeal judging by the screams that echoed around the arena.
Some lucky women even got up close and personal with the pop star when he ventured into the crowd to feed a select couple to feed glace cherries to.

He got in the spirit, knocking back shots of tequila and throwing fake money – Usher bucks – into the crowd. Part of his Past Present Future tour, huge screens gave a look back at Usher’s amazing 30-year career throughout the show.
A celebration of everything he’s achieved in his amazing career, he thanked fans for being there for the journey. “Tonight I want to make sure you have a great time”, he said. “I’m playing 10 nights here at the O2 in London. Tonight is a very special beginning. We celebrate 30 plus years of a career.
Some of you started with me when I first started, some of you have joined along the years. I just want to say thank you, I want to let you know appreciate you”.
The show closed with track Without You, but the night didn’t stop for Usher after the show. He hosted his own party boat travelling to a Soho club for private event with Raye and Judi Love in attendance.
