Beckham’s vile statement about his parents, David and Victoria, was condemned by a mum who is well-versed in family rifts, but the 26-year-old has been criticised for his actions.
A mum-of-four who claimed she was “disowned” by her eldest son has called Brooklyn Beckham a “spoilt brat” after his bombshell attack on his parents.
Carla Bellucci – once branded ‘Britain’s most hated woman’ for conning the NHS for a free nose job – said she can relate to what David and Victoria Beckham are going through.
The former glamour model, who posed for Page 3 in her younger years, has spoken in the past about her eldest son cutting contact after she joined a racy subscription site, despite insisting she only sold bikini pictures.
Carla expressed shock and hurt over her son’s apparent “absolutely disgusted” behavior in a statement, and she acknowledged Victoria’s current state of being “humiliated.”
In his statement on Instagram, Brooklyn, addressing his wedding day with wife Nicola Peltz, said Victoria “danced very inappropriately” on him in front of 500 guests and he said he had never felt “more uncomfortable” in his life.
And in response to this, Carla, 44, told Brooklyn, 26, that he needed to “lighten up” and that women his mother’s age weren’t “boring” like younger generations who she believes lack the ability to have fun.
She told The Mirror: “I think it is a pure insult to Victoria. I know exactly how she feels and it’s so disappointing and humiliating. She will feel awful and it could break her like it nearly did me. I think he is a spoilt brat that needs to learn to respect his parents. We all do the best for our kids and you only get one set of parents.
It is “unflawful on all levels.” How dare he accuse his parents of wrongdoing them in public? He is completely out of line and a brat. He received everything, and they are now paid.
Brooklyn’s mother, who resides in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, believes that he will eventually regret criticizing his parents for living a life full of opportunities. She also speculated that if he were to have his own children one day, he would only realize how fortunate he was.
She claimed that most people do everything in their power to avoid perfection and that parents don’t get a manual for this.
She said, “Just move on with your life because you have no choice,” and she was speaking to Victoria as well. You must block it out and hope that they will eventually come clean and apologize.
Carla explained that the Beckham fiasco has reminded her of her own family dramas. She says she currently exchanges two messages a year with her son for his birthday and Christmas.
She added: “The Beckham situation hits home and it is the worst thing in the world. It is truly heartbreaking and it’s almost like they will be grieving.
