‘I tried the celeb-brand mascara going viral for giving the longest lashes ever’

I wear mascara almost daily because I have fair lashes, so I’m always looking for the best ones. Although I have a few favorites, I always return, but when I saw Haus Labs’ new mascara go viral for allegedly delivering incredibly long lashes, I knew I had to try it.

Lady Gaga founded Haus Labs, which sells B Structural Volumizing + Lengthening Mascara, which is priced at £27 from Sephora (so not the cheapest but not as much as some designer brand ones). Customers claim their “lashes have never looked better” after using this, and I have to say that this smart formula delivers “5x fanned-out volume that’s nourished and lengthening.”

I recently discovered my favorite dewy foundation for less than Amazon and half price.

Pros

• gives incredible length
• provides a lot of volume
• Extra-black color
• doesn’t make eyes irritable
• All the lashes are beautifully coated with a bristly brush.

Cons

• With more than one coat, the lashes come off a little spidery, which might not be everyone’s style.
• By the end of the day, there is only a small amount of flaking under the eyes.
• The lower lashes are not very easy to use with the brush.

Although Molly-Mae Hague has stated she is a fan of Haus Labs foundation, I’ve heard great things about this mascara from the company, which I tried first. It has a thick, bristled, slightly hourglass-shaped, slightly pointed end. I typically prefer silicone brushes, but I found this to be really effective for covering every millimeter of my lash hairs and getting right between the roots.

My natural lashes are quite long, but they’re fine, fair, and flimsy, but in a few swipes this mascara made them appear to be nearly reaching my eyebrows – I’ve never seen them look this long. This is for full-on, spiders’-legs lashes, which also add a lot of drama. Although it may seem a bit ridiculous, I believe it actually makes them look like “Ladies Gaga” lashes, which are super long, superspiky, and super-black.

With only a very small amount of flaking at the end of the day (it even isn’t up to most face cleansers), it also works really well throughout the day.

This mascara is the best I’ve tried because it gives incredible length and volume, which is definitely not for those who prefer a natural look.
