After 20 years of the well-known franchise being based in the US, Gordon Ramsay’s first Hell’s Kitchen was opened in Europe to see if it lives up to the hype.

Gordon Ramsay has opened his first ever Hell’s Kitchen restaurant outside of the US, with a new restaurant in none other than Ibiza, Spain. Whether he’s shouting that beef is underdone or garnish isn’t ready, the TV chef has some iconic lines from his long-running Hell’s Kitchen series.

However, Gordon’s newest location’s restaurant experience wasn’t without luxury, despite the fact that chefs may be experiencing the heat inside. The food is prepared with traditional dishes like the Beef Wellington and scallops, as well as fresh-baked European favorites like the short rib and chorizo croquette.

A Basque-style blueberry and blackberry cheesecake was a surprising highlight of the meal for me, despite not being something I’ve seen on the show.

The newly renovated Unexpected Hotel, which was previously known as the Ushuaia Beach Hotel, serves up special edition Pharrell Williams Moet champagne and cocktails from the restaurant’s iconic HK walkway as you enter.

After my six-course Hell’s Kitchen meal, I headed over to Gordon’s newest location, where is the iconic open-air Ibiza superclub Ushuaia, where I danced off the excess food from Gordon’s most recent restaurant across the street.

The Unexpected Hotel will undoubtedly provide both, whether you’re looking for a lively stay in Ibiza or some of Gordon’s classics.
