Brian Barry-Murphy, the head coach of Cardiff City, refrained from rumor that he was linked to French club Strasbourg, and instead stated his “love” for the Bluebirds.

In accordance with reports in France, Barry-Murphy is one of the candidates for Strasbourg’s replacement if Chelsea’s current boss Liam Rosenior is appointed.

Rosenior, who left Chelsea earlier this month, is the most popular choice to succeed Enzo Maresca.

The consortium that was formed to buy Chelsea in 2022 owns Strasbourg and owns the shares.

Barry-Murphy responded, “I don’t know,” when asked what he thought of the rumors about him joining the Ligue 1 club. I adore Cardiff.

The Bluebirds have won League One with their first six games under Barry-Murphy, who has instilled an exciting style of attacking football.

With a 1-0 home win over Wigan Athletic on Sunday, the Welsh club maintained their three-point lead at the top of the table.

After the game, former Manchester City Under-21s manager Barry-Murphy chose to concentrate on Cardiff issues rather than France’s reported interest.

That’s for sure, he continued, “I didn’t really know about it [the speculation].

The players are also very excited, and I believe we can improve a lot. I’m very appreciative of winning three out of our four games in just ten days.

We simply concentrate on ourselves and work toward constantly improving.
