Prince Harry and Meghan are really like behind closed doors, according to a friend of the Sussexes. He opens up about a tender moment they shared during a difficult time.

A celebrity pal of Meghan Markle has revealed how the Sussexes really operate at a time of crisis, as he lifts the lid on a poignant moment they shared together.

Thousands of miles away from the royal residences he grew up in, Prince Harry will be spending Christmas in sunny Monetico with his wife Meghan and their two children, Archie, six and Lilibet, four. Known for hosting at their £30 million pad, the door will no doubt be open to famous American friends and the likes of Meghan’s mum Doria. But one special family member will be sadly missing this year after a heartbreaking loss.

This January, the Duchess took to Instagram to announce the devastating news that her beloved dog Gus had died. The rescue beagle had been at Meghan’s side throughout some of the happiest and darker times in her life.

After ten years with him, he watched her rise to international fame as Rachel Zane in the US legal drama Suits and shortly after her divorce from her first husband, Trevor Engleson. Meghan revealed a number of photos of her and Guy’s children, as well as previously unreleased video and image images.

The mother-of-two wrote, “In Memory of Guy,” in a statement. I purchased a beagle from a Canadian dog rescue in 2015. He had a few days to live at a kill shelter in Kentucky. I swooped on him. and smitten with love. Because he was so young and frail, they called him “the little guy,” so I gave him the name “Guy.” And he was the most ideal man a girl could have asked for.

You saw a lot of him on Instagram and The Tig, according to the post. When I became a mother at Suits, he was there with me when I got engaged (and then married). He was there for me throughout every situation, whether it was peaceful, chaotic, or comforting. “

Meghan thanked celebrity guru Noel Fitzpatrick for her special thanks, saying, “He had a terrible accident that left him unable to leave the clinic for a while. Dr. Noel Fitzpatrick assured him that he could walk again despite doctors’ predictions that he would never walk again. After hours, H and I would drive late at night to see Guy as he recuperated in Surrey for months.

Noel and his team, the staff at Queen West Animal Hospital in TO, our current vets, my friends, and the community, thank you for loving him so. I hope you will understand why I am so devastated by his passing because many of you will now see Guy in this new series. You might also develop a romantic inclination.

Noel now opens up about Meghan and Harry’s behind-the-scenes interactions, recalling his invaluable assistance to Gus’ incredible recovery. After Noel received a call from the Duchess, the Sussexes made a visit to the vet’s office in 2017.

Noel explained to the Times this week that Meghan called me from Canada to tell me that Guy, her beagle, had escaped and had been found with two seized “wrists” [the carpus] [the carpus]. Would I be able to? She brought him over, and I concur. “

However, the practice wasn’t all about serious talk. After Gus’ op, the celebrity vet even shared a “sweet” note with the couple and ate cake with them. The Duke and Duchess were seated on the floor, he said. We had a cake. Guy was fixed. He lived until January of this year, and Meghan gave me a sweet note of gratitude. “

Noel was invited to the couple’s wedding in 2018 after forming a relationship with them, but he later revealed to the Daily Mail that he left early. He said that it was an “honour” to be a guest and that it felt “quite surreal”.

He said, “I was wondering, what is the farmer’s son doing here?” Why am I here, exactly? It resembled a true instance of imposter syndrome. I genuinely felt honored, but I still made the decision to leave. Noel continued, “It seemed to me as though I didn’t know anyone.”

Meghan also acknowledged that she had “cried too many tears,” the kind that causes you to get in the shower in the hope that the running water on your face will somehow make you ignore them or pretend to be unaware.
