In the US Darts Masters final, world number one Luke Humphries defeated fellow Englishman Nathan Aspinall.
Humphries, 30, won the World Series of Darts competition at Madison Square Garden in New York with an 8-6 victory. He won both his World Masters and Premier League titles.
In the quarter-finals earlier on Saturday, Aspinall defeated world champion Luke Littler 6-4.
It’s really special to win this event because this is our most famous venue, Humphries said.
Aspinall, who won the 2019 tournament in Las Vegas, started the tournament slow and finished with a 90-point bullseye finish, going into the final with a 3-0 deficit.
Humphries grabbed the lead with a double eight after a 142 checkout from Humphries, but Aspinall missed two darts to make it 7-7.
Aspinall defeated Australian Damon Heta 7-3 in the final four to claim a spot in the final, while Humphries defeated American Danny Lauby 6-2 and Welshman Gerwyn Price 7-2 in the semi-final.
