Just four days before his death at the age of 71, Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife Linda posted a vintage photo of the couple and made references to “the good old days.”
Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife Linda recently reminisced about her ‘good days’ with the WWE legend just days before his untimely death at 71.
TMZ reported Hogan’s death, claiming that doctors were dispatched to the 71-year-old’s Clearwater, Florida, home. Just a few weeks after his wife, Sky, had to refute rumors that he was in a coma, the sad news arrives.
Hogan’s Florida home is thought to have experienced cardiac arrest. According to reports, Hulk’s home in Clearwater, Florida, was taken early on Thursday morning by medics. It’s thought that the caller called it a “cardiac arrest.”
The wrestling legend was “carried on a stretcher into an ambulance,” according to TMZ, and there were a lot of police cars and emergency vehicles parked outside his home.
After having numerous surgeries, the legendary grappler had recently experienced health issues. After having a negative reaction to surgery, we earlier this week revealed that he was “unable to speak” and that he was being monitored at home by medical staff.
Hogan, who underwent cervical surgery and was taken to the hospital last month, is alleged to have been taken home after being in the hospital.
Hogan’s ex-wife Linda opened up about her marriage to the wrestling legend as reports about his apparently declining health began to surface.
Linda, 65, shared a throwback photo with the late WWE pro from 1996 to her Instagram in a post that now seems eerie. Just four days before he tragically passed away, Linda posted the picture on July 19.
She captioned the image, which featured her wearing a stunning black gown around Hulk while her caption was “The good old days.” The former couple was present at the Las Vegas NATPE Convention at the time the photo was taken.
From 1983 to 2009, Linda and Hulk had two children: their son Nick, 36, and their daughter Brooke, 36.
Once one of the most high-profile couples in the wrestling world, their relationship was featured prominently on the reality show Hogan Knows Best, which aired in the mid-2000s.
However, as a result of growing tensions and rumors of infidelity, their marriage began to deteriorate. Linda filed for divorce in 2007, citing conflicting priorities.
In 2009, the split was resolved, bringing an uphill battle characterized by public scrutiny and personal struggles.
Fans were concerned when Hogan appeared on television to promote his new business ventures, and viewers took to social media to complain that he looked “unwell.” He was the WWE’s biggest star in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Hogan’s representative revealed to US media in May that he had had a “little fusion procedure” done to his neck and was recovering quickly. His most recent public appearance was a later-than-expected photo shoot with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
Hogan’s family members were reportedly called in to say their final goodbyes, according to Bubba, who claimed Hogan was on his deathbed last month. The legend wrestler’s spokesman later refuted the claims, though.
The WWE icon’s representative denied speculation that he was seriously after it was revealed that he had undergone a minor “fusion procedure” on his neck just weeks before his passing.
The YouTuber claimed that he wasn’t happy with how things were going. A representative denies any involvement in the speculation and claims that Hulk’s surgery was “successful” and that there were “no reasons to panic.”
He only needs to have a medical checkup occasionally, they continued.
