Following the legendary wrestler’s passing last week at the age of 71, Hulk Hogan’s cause of death was revealed. A “medical-related call” was answered by officers and fire crews in Clearwater, Florida, just before 10 am on Thursday, July 24.

The WWE star was taken to Morton Plant Hospital after being discovered “experienceing a serious medical-related issue” in a house on Eldorado Avenue.

Major Nate Burnside reported that Hogan passed away at 11.17 am in a hospital with “no indications of foul play or suspicious activity.” As the pro wrestler’s death was announced, international tributes poured in from all over the world.

According to the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center, it has been reported that Hogan passed away from an acute myocardial infarction, also known as a heart attack.

According to documents obtained by PageSix, Hogan allegedly had a history of atrial fibrillation (AFib), a heart condition that is characterized by irregular heartbeats and frequently rapid heartbeats. The deceased sports star’s family has a history of leukemia CLL, a type of cancer that affects white blood cells known as lymphocytes, according to the documents.

Hogan’s team was forced to refute rumors that he had fallen ill just before his passing. The late father-of-two had minor surgery on his neck in May, which sparked social media speculation. One YouTuber claimed that sources had told him that the icon’s situation “wasn’t looking good.”

Hogan’s official spokesperson furiously denied this and insisted that he was in good health. There were “no reasons to panic,” according to the doctors, and Hulk’s surgery had been “successful.”

They continued, adding that “He just needs to have a medical check up occasionally.” Hulk’s medical procedure had been covered in a number of reports, with some speculating that he had undergone “pretty serious heart surgery.”

His spokesperson, who insisted he didn’t “have any heart problems,” later dismissed this. The wrestling star was reportedly “unable to speak” and under surveillance at his Florida home just days before his death, according to reports.

WWE confirmed Hogan’s death last week, and a statement from the show’s host read, “WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. Hogan, one of the most well-known faces in pop culture, helped WWE become famous internationally in the 1980s. The family, friends, and fans of Hogan are all in the WWE condolences.

Hogan and The Rock, aka Dwayne Johnson, squared off at Wrestlemania in 2002, following their first appearance in 1985. His most recent WWE appearance was against Randy Orton in 2006 at SummerSlam.

Ric Flair, a friend of Hogan and former professional wrestler, wrote on Twitter/X: “I’m absolutely shocked to learn about the passing of my close friend @HulkHogan! Since we started doing wrestling, Hulk has been by my side. “A fantastic athlete, talent, friend, and father”!

Hulkamania was created in the middle of the 1980s as he pushed the mainstream of professional wrestling. Along with his bright blond hair, handlebar moustache, and large muscles, he was known for his 24-inch pythons.
