A DJ who has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Justin Bieber has opened up on his newest album which features the likes of Travis Scott
A legendary DJ who has previously worked with the likes of Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga has released their long-awaited new album. DJ Snake, who has also collaborated with Selena Gomez says his latest work “goes beyond an album tracklist”.
The star, originally from a housing project on the outskirts of Paris, is a household name thanks to smash hits such as Taki Taki. The song features huge names including Selena, Cardi B and Ozuna.
Other tunes include his his Turn Down For What offering with Lil Jon and Let Me Love You with Bieber. And now, his 17-track offering gives fans more huge name collaborations, with songs featuring artists such as Travis Scott.

Speaking of the launch, DJ Snake – whose real name is William Sami Étienne Grigahcine – said: “I grew up surrounded by people from India, the Caribbean, Africa and the Middle East. That mix shaped everything I heard.
“Nomad is a tribute to that upbringing, always moving, always learning, always blending what the world has to offer. Nomad goes beyond an album tracklist. It’s a cultural statement.”
Snake also mixes tracks with K-Pop powerhouse Stray Kids. Speaking of their connection, the DJ went on: “We met last year at the 2024 Gala des Pieces Jaunes in Paris.
“We immediately knew there was more to come. I’ve always been amazing with the K-Pop scene.
“So to now collaborate with these guys who have had such an impact on this genre is an honour.”
His latest offering with American rapper Travis Scott sees the pair release Tsunami. Travis was in the UK earlier this year for a performance at Leeds and Reading Festival.
The 34-year-old, who has two children with ex partner Kylie Jenner, put on a lively show with a bold set and fireworks. He also surprised fans with a Kanye West performance during a recent concert in Japan.
As part of his weekend-long Tokyo takeover this weekend, the Utopia rapper was at Tokorozawa’s Belluna Dome. There, he performed his notable material and brought out Ye.
Fans were quick to share clips online of Ye removed a mask to show his identity to the crowd. They then launched into his 2007 song titled Can’t Tell Me Nothing.
He also performed Through The Wire and other tunes as the crowd loved the surprise. Taking to social media, one excited fan shared a clip and wrote: “Ye performing Through The Wire in Japan,” along with three flame emojis.
Another noticed Ye’s different behaviour on stage and commented on his smiling appearance. “Ye looks so happy,” they wrote while sharing a clip of the rappers together.
