Eddie Howe, the head coach at Newcastle United, denies any link to his job at Manchester United and declares himself “very happy.”

Since Howe’s appointment by Newcastle in November 2021, only Pep Guardiola, Mikel Arteta, and Marco Silva have held the position of premier league manager.

Following Ruben Amorim’s dismissal at Manchester United on Monday, Howe questioned if there was anything that might tempt him to leave St James’ Park. “No. Not at this time.

The most crucial factors for me are happiness in my job, relationships with people around me, and happiness in my role.

After a brief period of negotiations, Howe and sporting director Paul Mitchell, who left last summer, were at odds with one another.

However, Howe and Mitchell’s replacement, Ross Wilson, have quickly come to terms.

Since Darren Eales’ resignation as CEO due to ill health, David Hopkinson has become the second chief executive, making Wilson the third sporting director Darren Eales has worked with.

Howe stated that he is content at Newcastle as long as he can “express myself as much as possible and be the best version of myself.”

Newcastle are on the verge of a last-16 play-off spot in the Champions League, despite finishing ninth in the Premier League by two points off fifth.

Howe continues to be supported by minority shareholder Jamie Reuben and the club’s majority owners, the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund, and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia.

According to Howe, “there must be unity from top to bottom for any club to succeed.” Everyone must have a good vibe, they must say.

The board and I have a fantastic relationship, they say. That has never changed.

Because so few managers have the time to form those relationships, I consider myself very fortunate to have them.
