Hollywood legend and ardent supporter of Arsenal Anne Hathaway?
The actress, who has appeared in movies like The Devil Wears Prada and The Dark Knight Rises, has recently begun to show signs of self-aggrandize in TikTok videos of herself singing North London Forever.
However, it appears that Mikel Arteta’s entire Hathaway family is in charge of the group conversation. In one video, Hathaway declares, “The group chat is going off. I concur, “Declan is the man of the day,” my mother.
Has Hathaway been a fan of Arsenal for how long?
Although it’s not clear how long Hathaway’s love of the Gunners has been lasting, there is certainly evidence that it has for more than a year.
She was spotted watching and celebrating a goal last April while speaking in a conversation for her upcoming film, The Idea of You, alongside fellow Arsenal fan Nicholas Galitzine.
“One-nil, Trossard”! Galitzine responds, “Oh I love you,” before Hathaway adds, “Sorry, we both support the same team, and there is a game in progress right now, and they scored in our previous interview.”
Leandro Trossard’s goal, which they celebrated with a 2-0 victory over Wolves on April 20, 2024, was the one they were celebrating.
Has Hathaway attended an Arsenal game?

It appears that Hathaway hasn’t been able to make the trip to Arsenal’s home yet despite Trossard’s invitation to attend Emirates Stadium a year ago.
There is actually little evidence on the internet that she is a fan before the casual revelations about her Arsenal support in the aforementioned interview last April.
However, her support seems to have increased as a result of Arsenal’s Champions League campaign.
Other Hollywood football fans range from Crowe to Hanks.

Hathaway is, of course, not the only Hollywood star supporting the English football team.
A major Leeds supporter and club owner, Russell Crowe of Gladiator fame.
The Australian stated last year that he has followed Leeds since the 1970s, stating that “every day there was either a gardening show, a yoga show, or Match of the Day.”
“So we tuned in and watched Match of the Day, and Leeds had a lot of success in the early 1970s.”
“My brother chose Liverpool and I chose Leeds because they were on the TV quite a lot,” he said.
Tom Hanks, a fellow actor, and Catherine Zeta-Jones, a star of Ocean’s Twelve and other movies, both support their hometown team Swansea City, while Tom Hanks, a fellow actor, has been seen at their games.
