After a judge found the Hollywood producer guilty of the murder of two women and the rape and sexual abuse of seven others, David Pearce is currently serving the rest of his life behind bars.

A disgraced Hollywood producer has been sentenced to almost 150 years behind bars after being found guilty of raping and killing two model. A judge ruled on Wednesday that David Pearce will die in jail after being told his sentence will run until 2171.

The notorious sentence comes after he was found guilty on November 13, 2021, for the overdose deaths of 24-year-old model and aspiring actress Christy Giles and her 26-year-old friend Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola.

The disgraced star, 42, plied the women with fatal cocktail drugs at his Beverly Hills home after meeting at a warehouse party a few hours earlier. The pair were dumped and left for dead outside different Los Angeles hospitals by masked men.

In February, Pearce was found guilty of the heinous crimes. Between 2007 and 2021, he also received a number of other sex abuse and rape convictions for seven other Jane Dos.

Judge Eleanor Hunter imposed a maximum sentence of 25 years to life for each murder in the 146-year sentence. Pearce’s rape victims received additional sentences, as well.

You’re the worst kind of criminal, Mr. Pearce, she claimed to be. You’re charming, smart, manipulative, and very goal-driven.

You fit the role, but I haven’t once witnessed any genuine apology. No empathy for Christie, Hilda, or anyone else.

After the ordeal, Cabrales-Arzola was able to recover from hospital care, but her brain was dead due to a lack of oxygen. Before going into a coma on November 24 and passing away, she remained there for almost two weeks.

Sadly, Giles had already passed away when she was taken to a hospital. Pearce allegedly told a friend that “dead girls can’t talk” during the trial. This, according to the prosecution, demonstrated Pearce’s desire for the victims’ deaths.

Pearce claimed that he didn’t personally witness “them take any drugs after they returned to his home and that he had not given the two women the drugs that killed them. His defense team also made an effort to make the suggestion that the drug may have been “unintentionally ingested” after being mistaken for cocaine.

Pearce also denied sexually assaulting the two women in the witness accounts. He also refuted the other seven sexual assault counts.

Fernanda Cabrales-Arzola, Cabrales-Arzola’s sister, had previously criticised Pearce for not having been sentenced before the crime. She claimed to the Daily Mail that she thought he ought to have been imprisoned “many years ago.”

According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, Pearce was accused of rape at least three times before the crime. It’s thought these were between 2007 and 2020.

The jury was unable to reach a decision on the charges against Pearce’s co-defendant Brandt Walter Osborn, 45, who was facing two counts of accessory after the fact. After jurors informed her that the case was deadlocked, Hunter ordered a mistrial.
