In a sweet Instagram post shared with her followers, Hollyoaks actress Jessamy Stodart revealed that she is expecting her second child with her husband Ryan O’Gorman.
This Christmas, one Hollyoaks star has some wonderful news.
Jessamy Stoddart has announced she is expecting her second child with husband Ryan O’Gorman via a sweet social media post. The 32 year old actress who plays Liberty Savage in the TV soap took to Instagram and wrote: “So incredibly lucky to be growing a little brother or sister for Joni.”
The cute caption was accompanied by a series of pictures sharing the happy news. One picture showed a heart shaped bauble hanging from the couple’s Christmas tree, which read: “Baby O’Gorman. Due May 2026.”
A copy of the couple’s baby scan was visible in the picture enclosed in the bauble. In a mirror selfie, Jessamy was seen lovingly touching her growing baby bump in another image. The side of the snap showed the excited star, who was wearing a black top that sat on top of her bump.
And it didn’t take long before her post was inundated with comments, congratulating the star and her husband. Former Hollyoaks star Nikki Sanderson wrote: “Amazing news!!!! So happy for you all.”

“Ahhh, this is great news!!!” wrote Kimberly Hart-Simpson. I love you all the most. Another person praised the news as “the most beautiful.” Ryan and Joni, you two deserve a lot of congratulations. And a third person expressed his happiness for the entire group by saying, “This is SOOOOO happy!” Congratulations for all of my love.
By the time Jessamy and Ryan had tied the knot in 2021, they had already given the news that they were expecting their first child. The TV star shared the birth of her daughter Joni in January 2023.
And she later said, “Our little girl,” when she shared a picture of her new arrival. Joni Drew O’Gorman 04/01/2023 8lb4. A rainbow appears after every storm, and this rainbow was born on the anniversary of our first finding out that we were pregnant.
She continued: “We are besotted. @lwhhomebirthteam & @liverpoolwomens I owe you the world xxx.” Jessamy’s character had gone through her fair share of ups and downs since joining the show.
Liberty had planned to have a baby with her half-sister, Sienna, but she unexpectedly made the decision to keep the biological child. However, she experienced postpartum psychosis as a result of believing that Sienna would attempt to flee with her child.
In an exclusive chat with Mirror Online, Jessamy explained: “All Liberty wants is for Faith to be safe. She is her number one priority, she just needs to shut out the noise and listen to her instincts.”
She continued, “Senna is persistent, out of all of whom, I believe, will be most likely to get there eventually.” Their relationship is so strong despite Liberty’s concerns for her.
The path to recovery is a long way away, she continued. The heartbreaking storyline will stick with Hollyoaks fans forever thanks to the multiple scenes that played out over the course of several weeks.
Jessamy re-entered the show in 2018; She had previously appeared in numerous theater productions, including Legally Blonde and Mack and Mabel, before transitioning to TV acting.
