After being spotted out and about together, former Hollyoaks star Nico Mirallegro and Game of Thrones actress Nell Tiger Free have since confirmed their romance.
Former Hollyoaks actor Nico Mirallegro appears to have officially unveiled his new relationship with Game of Thrones star Nell Tiger Free.
Fans of soap know well of Nico’s portrayal of the troubled gothic teenager Barry “Newt” Newton, the subject of a highly praised schizophrenia storyline.
Globally, Nell is recognised for her role as the ill-fated Myrcella Baratheon in the HBO fantasy series, the daughter of arch-villain Cersei Lannister, who tragically succumbed to a revenge attack against her mother during the battle for the iron throne. Now aspiring to establish herself as a musician, Nell seemingly spilled the beans first, sharing several charming clips on her TikTok page.
In a mini-music video set to one of her original songs, she teases her new boyfriend about Mancunian slang, and another video features him as the romantic lead.
The duo were initially seen together when Nico supported Nell at the premiere of her play ‘Thanks For Having Me’ earlier this year.
Since then, they appear to have grown increasingly close, frequently featuring each other on their Instagram stories in recent weeks.
Nell has been busy with Servant, her role in the Apple+ series, in addition to her blossoming romance.
Nico’s portrayal of Newt and his struggle with schizophrenia garnered much acclaim between 2007 and 2010, and his career has continued to flourish since.
He appeared in the Paramount Plus series “Stags” last year and he previously played the lead role in the drama “My Mad Fat Diary.”
Nico, the troubled teenager who lived in Chester Village, has a lot of energy. Nico can now be viewed as a genuine hunk by putting his awkward teenage years behind him. Due to his brooding roles in adult dramas, Nico has since gotten a lot of fans and has since abandoned his bad dye job, heavy eye liner, and lip piercing.
The actor has since become a BAFTA-nominated actor after winning recognition for his role as Joe Middleton in BBC’s The Village, which he has played since the show.
He also starred as Finn Nelson in My Mad Fat Diary, before appearing as as Timothy Evans in BBC series Rillington Place.
The three-part drama is based on the tragic death of Nico’s character Evans and the true story of serial killer John Cristie.
The Manchester-born actor later appeared in the 2017 documentary Murdered For Being Different, which explored Rob Maltby’s true story.
But viewers will best know Nico for his role as the foster child of Frankie and Jack Osborne – who made an impression with his battle with schizophrenia and goth-inspired image.
After bagging his first TV role in 2007 Nico spent three years at the Channel 4 soap.
Nico recalls fond memories of his time in the long-running soap despite leaving at the age of 18. Being in front of a camera six days a week is something you don’t get in drama school, according to the professor.
