After dating for a year, actress Helen Flanagan, 34, and former football player Robbie Talbot, 45, decided to end their relationship.
Helen Flanagan has split from her boyfriend of one year as they want “different things in life”, a source has claimed.
The 34-year-old actress, best known for playing the role of Rosie Webster in Coronation Street, reportedly wanted children with former footballer Robbie Talbot, 45, but is now determined to focus on her career and family. According to an insider, Helen, who shares three kids with her ex, Scott Sinclair, had a “grown-up” chat with Robbie after realising that things were not working out between them.
The split comes just weeks after a source claimed that Helen began worrying that her relationship could be “going backwards” after Robbie moved out months after they started living together. A source said Helen was desperate to make the relationship work, but found it difficult to juggle her role as devoted mum to children Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and three-year-old Charlie, while building something new.

The Sun first reported on the pair’s breakup, and a source told the paper that “they want different things in life.” She is attempting to balance work and parenting with recently obtaining a new acting position.
She sat him down two weeks ago and said, “This isn’t working. It was a mature conversation. She only wants to be alone for a while while maintaining her feelings for him.
Before going on Celebs Go Dating, Helen, who split from the father of her children in 2022, met father-of-two Robbie in a bar and described him as “really, really funny.” When Helen entered the restaurant in Alderly Edge, Cheshire, Robbie claimed to have recognized her.
He previously said, “I thought she was stunning. Everything was very out-of-date. My friend and I started talking about a coat we were wearing when we joked. Helen’s initial impression, however, was slightly different. She laughed when I assumed he was gay.
He had such attractive, smart, and well-dressed teeth, and I just assumed he was with his mate. I realized that wasn’t the case as soon as we started talking, so we exchanged numbers, messaged, and voilà!
In a recent interview with Fabulous, Helen mentioned how she recently asked Robbie to leave the couple and that she felt safer with him because they frequently feel very agitated outside the home alone.
“But Matilda has a difficult time keeping up with not seeing Scott as frequently as she would like because she is very sensitive and a good girl.” She may not like having my boyfriend there, but I always consider how she feels when she misses her dad.
I always put my children first when I tell them, “When you’re a mother, you do what you have to do for them.” Heather said their new arrangement made it easier for her to co-sleep with her children without interruptions. Although putting on a brave face, Helen struggled with the transition because she needed to balance her relationship with raising children and maintaining a healthy balance. Although Robbie’s departure may seem like a setback, she is constantly reminding herself that it’s the best thing for the family.
