In response to “throuple” claims, Coronation Street legend Helen Flanagan has spoken about her brief romance with former I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here co-star David Haye.

The former Coronation Street star, 35, enjoyed a short-lived relationship with the boxer, 45, who practices polyamory, three years back, but she’s now determined to clarify what really happened.
The pair first crossed paths on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2012. Yet their connection didn’t blossom romantically until over a decade later.
Things kicked off when David, who maintains an open relationship with Sian Osbourne, extended an invitation to Helen to accompany him and his partner to a boxing event at Wembley.
She acknowledges being aware that the couple are connected to “throuples” in her recently published memoir, Head and Heart.
Nevertheless, despite proceeding with a romance with David, she clarifies in the publication: “I’m not a prude, but I’ve never been into that – it was David I liked.”
Helen gave more details about her past relationships with her former jungle companion during a recent interview to promote the book.
The actress explained that “David and I had a relationship of their own,” noting that “he was just David on his own.” That’s what only ever happened; my evenings were simply spent with him.
When pushed on whether she’d ever been in a “throuple” with David and Sian, she firmly responded: “No, no, no, not at all,” she told The Mail.

Helen revealed that she experienced a lot of deep loneliness after splitting with her long-term partner Scott. It took her more than nine months to recover from this.
She categorically refrained from suggesting that she had a “throuple” of conversations with David, making it clear that such a plan wasn’t for her.
However, Helen chose to describe her relationship with David as a “situationship,” rather than describing it as a full relationship.
She said, “I was in love with the man.” I would not have liked having sex with the woman I was enlarging to. That’s not my thing.
Helen became emotional when she admitted to feeling guilty about David’s girlfriend Sian during her appearance on Celebs Go Dating.
