After a video that appeared on social media before the Melbourne Test that appeared to show the batter intoxicated, Australia opener Travis Head claims to have spoken with England counterpart Ben Duckett.
After rumors that players had consumed too much alcohol while taking a break between the second and third Tests in the beach town of Noosa, England launched an investigation.
One video, which hasn’t been verified by the BBC, showed England opener Duckett intoxicated, which increased scrutiny of the team and in particular Duckett.
Head said, “I get on with Ducky well and reached out to see if he was okay.”
“Everyone is still human,” the saying goes. You decide what you do with your free time.
“I am aware that some people are more well-known than others, and we live in a high profile society.”

After losing in Perth and Brisbane, England lost the Ashes series by 2-0. They spent four nights there.
Some players were drinking a significant amount of their time on the Queensland coast and two previous Test days in Brisbane, including the BBC.
Although they performed better, they lost the following Adelaide Test, giving Australia the series.
Head gushed after England won the fourth test in Melbourne, saying: “I was jealous.
Everyone benefited from it more than it should have.
