Victoria Beckham has had to deal with a second unexpected person turning their back on her amid a growing feud with her son Brooklyn Beckham
Amid all the heartache with her eldest son Brooklyn Beckham, Victoria Beckham has had to deal with another unlikely person turning on her as her troubles continue. After being humiliated on the internet this week, the former Spice Girl appears to have taken drastic action in cutting someone out of her life herself after they told tales on her dancing exploits.
The row kicked off after Brooklyn sent a wrath of abuse to his parents accusing them of ruining his wedding and his life as he blasted them for controlling him his entire life.
In one of the most explosive lines in his six page post, Brooklyn referenced his 2022 nuptials to Nicola as he said his mum ruined the day by pulling out of making the actress ‘ dress and also claiming she danced ‘ inappropriately on him ‘ during the reception.
“My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped”, he said, “My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song.
” In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. “
This moment has turned Posh Spice into a laughing stock on the internet for the past few days, with a close friend of Victoria’s even getting involved. DJ Fat Tony – who has been a close friend of the Beckhams for many years- was at the wedding and posted a meme titled ‘POV: Victoria Beckham during Brooklyn’s first dance’ alongside a comedy video of Lucy Punch’s cringe-worthy dance from BBC sitcom Motherland.
Alongside the clip, he wrote:” Actual video footage it’s true I was there! “sparking hundreds of comments from fans who found the whole thing hilarious – but it looks like the Beckhams are far from impressed.
It appears David and Victoria are no longer following DJ Fat Tony, an iconic figure from the 80s and 90s London club scene who had found a place in their inner circle.
Their friendship goes way back, he even DJ-ed at Brooklyn’s 21st birthday and has helped marked some huge occasions for the family and even worked with them on their PR campaigns.
During lockdown in 2020, Victoria celebrated her birthday in a very pandemic way, with a live DJ set on Instagram Live from her friend. She wrote alongside the caption: “Tomorrow is my birthday. @dj_fattony_ has given me the best bday present. A playlist of all my favourite songs to share with everyone. Instead of gifts this year I have asked my friends and family to donate to @thechildrenssociety… Tony will be going live on my Instagram tomorrow at 8PM BST/4PM EDT. Turn the music up and have a dance in your living room/kitchen/bedroom. Thank you Tony! x VB.”
Before that, Fat Tony was on hand to DJ the launch party for Victoria’s collection with Reebok. As well as Victoria and the Beckhams, Tony has DJed for the likes of Tom Daley, Elton John, Liam Payne and Gordon Ramsay.
Whether he works with the Beckhams again remains to be seen.
