Sandra Redknapp’s wife, Harry Redknapp, is in a hospital, according to a racing commentator. Presenter Matt Chapman expressed his gratitude to Sandra while she was being treated for her illness during the coverage of the race on ITV4.
Matt spoke about the King of Bears, which Harry Redknapp owns, while covering the racing live from Great Yarmouth Racecourse. In the end, King of Bears finished in sixth place.
The presenter said: “So, King of Bears, just to say Harry Redknapp will be watching this horse from his hospital bed, but not his bed, because his missus Sandra is just being treated in hospital at the moment.”
“I think Sandra wanted to watch Emmerdale, but Harry is forcing her to watch this race,” Sandra says. He has a personality. He has a good chance of winning it, and he has a good chance of finishing last.
Since Harry and Sandra have been married since they were 17 years old, there is no denying their love. Harry is by Sandra’s side despite the commentator’s claim that it is unknown why she is in the hospital.
After she lost consciousness with Covid earlier that year, Harry revealed his fear for Sandra and confessed his fear in 2022. If I’m honest, he said, “The symptoms weren’t good. You start to consider a variety of sinister possibilities.
“It’s been a real concern,” she said. There are issues for Sandra. She was having trouble breathing because her voice was ringing. Even attempting to swallow food became challenging. If we didn’t take any precautions, she would choke on food easily.
Sandra recalled her own health battle, saying, “You don’t realize what your vocal cords do until they’re not working, because it affects both breathing and talking. It was very challenging to breath so quickly. My voice was very weak and would vibrate.
Harry also admitted he had no plans to retire in 2023, which makes Sandra angry as he continues to work.
When questioned about whether he was back, he replied, “Not a chance.” I can’t. I find it difficult to refuse requests because Sandra is crazy. I recently managed for ITV, for Sky Max, and for Jamie and I shot Jamie and Harry’s World Cup Challenge. What a fun that was.
He continued, “Sandy had ovarian cancer and really suffered with her throat after damaging her vocal cords, and I’ve had a kidney cancer scare and a stent fitted into my heart.”
Harry almost disappeared into the I’m A Celebrity jungle after Sandra battled sepsis back in 2018. He claimed, “I almost didn’t get on the plane because I was afraid I was going to lose her.” She wanted me to go, but she wasn’t having it. She visited me, and I’ll never forget that. She had seen me cry for the first time.
