Harris Dickinson, a British actor, has openly discussed his thoughts regarding the steamy scenes with Nicole Kidman and the sexualized comments made about his character in the movie “Babygirl.”
Harris Dickinson has condemned fans sexualising him following the success of Babygirl, where the British actor shared steamy scenes with American sensation Nicole Kidman.
Romy Mathis (Nicole Kidman), a powerful CEO who begins an affair with a much younger intern, Samuel (Harris Dickinson), is the protagonist of Babygirl, which was first released in December of this year.
Harris, who spoke about the success of the movie, emphasized the reactions of some fans and acknowledged he “didn’t really enjoy” what viewers were saying about his character in the contentious movie, which, according to Box Office Mojo, grossed $64.6 million (£48.1 million) worldwide.

He stated on the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast that working with Nicole was the most exciting thing ever because of how passionate he is about working on it. However, some of it was surprisingly reduced by fans. People are strange, but you can’t really control that and can’t really get yourself into it.
Harris also addressed the distinction between remarks made about men and women, saying, “I think it’s okay to do this to make actors, strangely. That is the issue. The actor expressed disapproval of the comments made by women, calling them “deeply inappropriate.”
The British actor had to “laugh it off” when he struggled to respond to a viewer’s comment during the film’s press conference.
He continued, “People could say, Well, you did a movie that you knew would be a little erotic,” he continued. Like, yes, but for me, the film we made and the approach that Halina Reijn [spoke about] were much more distinctive. In my mind, it wasn’t a reductive thing.
