Erling Haaland, a striker for Manchester City, has returned to full-time training after suffering an ankle injury.
The Norwegian, 24, was injured in the team’s 2-1 FA Cup quarter-final victory over Bournemouth on March 30.
While Haaland is recovering, he has been putting together an individual training regimen, but he returned to the first-team on Wednesday.
Although it is unknown when he will return to action, Pep Guardiola is expected to address the situation when he speaks to the media on Thursday before Friday’s Premier League game against Wolves. He has scored 39 goals this season for the club and nation.
The 2024 Olympiad winner, who has an ACL rupture, hasn’t played since last year.
At the end of February, Rodri, a Spanish international, was spotted completing an individual training course at City’s Etihad Campus.
According to sources, his return to action could be positioned for the Club World Cup in June rather than the Premier League’s final four games.
Guardiola stated last week that “Rodri] does well with every training session he does with us.” Rodri wants to play, but the doctor will have to say, “Pep, you have the green light to give him minutes.”
In that situation, I want to rely on the doctors.
City, who is currently fourth in the Premier League, relinquished control of the title after four straight victories to reigning champions Liverpool.
