Viktor Gyokeres’ 2-0 win at Burnley has caused the Arsenal manager to express his concern.

Gyokeres, who signed for Arsenal for £64 million in the summer, opened the scoring before being withdrawn at half-time.

The 27-year-old striker is out for Tuesday’s Champions League game against Slavia Prague (17:45 GMT), despite having scored four goals this season in the Premier League. He hasn’t trained since the Burnley defeat.

When asked if Gyokeres was a member of the squad, Arteta responded, “No, he’s definitely not available.”

He hasn’t practiced yet,” he said. In order to determine the extent of the injury, we need to conduct additional tests and scans in the coming days. He isn’t available, though.

Then Arteta was questioned about whether it was a short-term problem for Sweden, but she did not provide a positive update.

He said, “No, I’m concerned because he needed to leave the pitch and he was feeling something,” and he hadn’t had many muscular issues.

“That’s never a good sign, especially for a player who is very, very explosive,” he said.

We are now going to let you know as soon as we can to find out where we are in terms of the injury.
