Guests from Kharkiv City: Rebuilding Life in Rural Ukraine

Nelia and her husband Oleksandr welcome refugees who have fled Kharkiv to their homes in the peaceful village of Kozubivka in the Poltava region of Ukraine.

However, it’s challenging to start a new life in rural Ukraine. On the farm, city residents must learn to navigate unfamiliar routines, go through physical labor, and bear the emotional strain of displacement. Despite touching in the process, tempers flare.
