Manager Oliver Glasner claims that Captain Marc Guehi will leave next year and won’t be signing a new deal with Crystal Palace.

The 25-year-old England defender’s current contract expires at the end of the season, according to Glasner, and Palace wants him to stay.

According to Glasner, “They gave Marc a new contract, but he responded, “No, I want to make something different,” which is typical.”

Glasner responded, “That’s how we can handle this situation.” What is the most effective way to complete this step? And how we are conversing are all about that.

Guehi, who joined Palace from Chelsea in 2021 and has played 167 games, was on the verge of joining Liverpool in the summer.

After failing to sign Brighton defender Igor Julio as a replacement, Palace pulled out of the deal on transfer deadline day and had expected him to have completed a £35 million move.

Guehi has now played all 12 of Palace’s games this season, placing them sixth in the Premier League.

According to reports, Palace wants to sell him in January, and Liverpool could face opposition from Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona.
