Following the presentation of a royal birthday present in honor of the Governor’s recent birthday, Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II.
The Oba’s eldest daughter, Princess (Mrs) Iku Aimiuwu Ewuare, was accompanied by Frank Irabor, Secretary of the Benin Traditional Council, in a statement released by the governor’s media aide on Tuesday, according to a statement released on Tuesday.
He claimed that Governor Okpebholo reaffirmed his commitment to the throne and the development of Edo State when he addressed the royal delegation.
He continued, “Well, I’m in short supply because my father, the Oba of Benin, is gifting me.” I’m so happy and honored. If you wash your hands well, you can eat with the elders, according to a proverb in my community. That is what I am seeing right now. I won’t assume it to be true for this recognition.
Tell my father, the Oba, that his prayers are effective, that we are his children, and that we are committed to his and the development of Edo State, and that his prayers are effective. We won’t say anything that is not true. What we know and what we see will be our words and words. Tell him that his pleadings are effective for both the people of Edo State. Thank you very much.

Your Excellency, we are here this afternoon on the instruction of His Majesty the great Oba of the Benin Kingdom to give you a royal gift. The presentation will be made by His Royal Majesty’s eldest child, Princess (Mrs.) Iku Aimiuwu Ewuare. The Omo N’Oba has instructed her to give the royal gift as a birthday present that she recently celebrated. That is the primary justification for our presence as Omo N’Oba intended.
Princess Aimiuwu extended her father’s approval and birthday wishes while giving the gift.
