
Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers State, has officially dissolved his cabinet, removing all commissioners and other public servants from the immediate appointment process.
The Governor’s press secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, confirmed the dissolution in a statement released on Wednesday.
The Governor, according to the statement, convened a private ceremony at Port Harcourt’s Government House to discuss his cabinet’s legacy.
The ceremony serves as a part of the festivities honoring Nigeria’s 65th birthday.

Governor Fubara thanked the commissioners for their contributions and commitment to Rivers State’s growth and development over the past two years, according to the statement.
The Governor urged all Nigerians to work together with President Bola Tinubu to create a peaceful, secure, and prosperous nation while highlighting the significance of Nigeria’s independence.
