Gov Mbah Mourns As ‘Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo’ Singer, Mike Ejeagha Dies At 95

Gov Mbah Mourns As ‘Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo’ Singer, Mike Ejeagha Dies At 95

The legend of music legend, “Generic” Mike Ejeagha, passed away in the hands of the governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, who has expressed grief over his passing.

He claimed that the passing of the late singer left a void too difficult to fill.

Mbah described Ejeagha as a straightforward and casual person with a fan base that spans numerous international borders.

On Friday night, the “Gwo gwo gwo gwo ngwo” crooner’s passing was made known to the general public.

The governor assured that his administration would continue to make the legend immortal in death in response to the depressing development.

Mbah had long desired the icon’s legacy by reconstructing the well-known Obinagu Road and the adjacent Chief Mike Ejeagha Crescent, which successive state governments have left unfulfilled.

In his honor, he also changed Obinagu Road to Chief Mike Ejeagha Road.

The governor paid the musician’s Enugu-born son a sincere tribute by posting a picture to his verified social media accounts.

He continued, “I’m deeply saddened by the passing of Gentleman Mike Ejeagha, a legend in music.” Mike Ejeagha was an illustrious, revered, and cultural ambassador.

He had an easygoing personality and humility that belied his acclaim as one of the best musicians of his generation. I’ll always be fond of the warmth and wisdom he radiated, and the joy he found in the ordinary.

The governor continued, “This is a loss for Enugu State, the entire music industry, and the entire country as well. Ejeagha’s extraordinary talent and genius came from his ability to create timeless songs that transcend all cultures using simple, traditional folktales.

He claimed that Ejeagha’s fan base was unmatched because he was easily recognized as one of music’s most recognizable voices.

His passing leaves a sizable void that will be challenging to fill. However, he’s left behind a lifetime of legacy.

“I extend my sincerest condolences to the Ejeagha family and reassure them of our support on behalf of the Enugu State government.”

We as a government would ensure that his memory was properly immortalized.
