Gordon Ramsay hailed Holly Ramsay’s newlywed daughter Holly days after her lavish wedding to Adam Ramsay Peaty, which hardly any members of the swimmer’s family attended.

Gordon Ramsay has sent a gushing tribute to his daughter Holly days after she tied the knot with Olympic swimmer Adam Ramsay Peaty over Christmas.

The TV chef took to Instagram to wish Holly and her twin brother Jack, who were born on New Year’s Eve, a happy 26th birthday. Acknowledging Holly’s new married name – which is a combination of her own and her new husband’s – he shared throwback snaps of his twins.

Happy Birthday to our wonderful twins, the 59-year-old wrote in the caption. There are no words enough to express how proud we are of you both, and it’s such a joy to watch you both develop into incredible people! I adore you dearly, Dad and Mum.

It comes after Holly and Adam walked down the aisle in one of the most talked-about weddings of the year on Saturday, December 27. The couple tied the knot in a traditional ceremony at Bath Abbey in Somerset. This was followed by a lavish reception at the posh Georgian manor, Kin House.

The wedding was held in a feud between Adam and his family, with the wedding being attended by Caroline, Adam’s heartbroken mother. She revealed the fallout on the day of the ceremony, saying, “They have cut my heart out.”

However, that didn’t stop Adam and Holly from vowing in front of a packed-out crowd, including Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, as well as the likes of Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham. Brooklyn, Brooklyn’s oldest son, was unmoved from his own family since his wedding to actress and billionaire Nicola Peltz Beckham.

Chef Marcus Wareing and Sara Davies, a member of Dragon’s Den, were other notable guests. While Tilly, 24, Holly’s younger sister, wore red satin creations from family friend Victoria Beckham’s collection, one of the bridesmaids. Mom Tana, 51, also wore a forest green VB dress.

Guests were served a wedding banquet which featured prawn cocktail, beef Wellington and pan-roasted halibut, followed by a tarte tatin. A traditional wedding cake was served at 8pm, MailOnline reports.

Caroline, Adam’s mother, revealed her true feelings for the hurtful wedding snub, which is said to have come from Adam not believing his family is “good enough” to share their experiences with the Ramsays.

Your children’s mother said, “All you want for your children to do is be happy in their relationships.” This has not caused their wedding to be ruined. Yes, it’s a happy day, but it needs to be said that it’s their wedding.

There is nothing I can’t forgive, and I want them to have the best day possible. They are both still loved. To stand by one another, Adam and I are also important to me. Don’t forget the other people who are around you just because you love them and that love is intense.

She heartbrokenly continued, “Family should have been the top priority at that wedding because it was such a happy day.”

Due to the long cape she wore over her dress, Holly was nicknamed the “scottish widows’ bride.” However, it has since become clear that this was a clever ruse to avoid disclosing how she looked when her wedding dress is scheduled to be shown in new year’s day photos in Vogue.

Holly’s outfits were also revealed during her special day, too. She allegedly wore her mother’s dress during her wedding in 1996, which she wore to Gordon Ramsay, a TV chef. She is said to have wore two different dresses during her wedding reception. So we’ll have to wait to see how it turns out until tomorrow…
