As he continued to keep quiet about Adam’s absence from his family, Gordon Ramsay made a brand-new gushing statement about his daughter Holly’s “perfect wedding” to the Olympic swimmer.
Gordon Ramsay gushed about the couple’s “perfect” day despite everyone who was mentioning Adam Peaty’s missing family at the Olympian’s wedding. On Saturday, December 27, a host of famous people’s eyes and hearts watched as the world’s top swimmer, model Adam, 31, and model Holly, 26, tied the knot in a stunning ceremony at Bath Abbey.
However, his sister Bethany was the only member of his family on the guest list after weeks of reports of conflict between the happy couple and Adam’s family, particularly his mother Caroline.
After reportedly making fun of Adam’s absent parents during his father-of-the-bride speech following their engagement, TV chef Gordon, 59, has once more neglected to mention the couple in a recent social media post about his daughter’s big day.

Commenting on a photograph of the wedding party posted to Instagram by British Vogue, Gordon wrote: “Perfect wedding and such wonderful guests to witness your beautiful wedding. Congratulations to you both”, and tagged both his daughter and new son-in-law.
As well as her sisters Tilly, 24, and Megan, 27, as well as the rest of the Ramsay clan, are seen in the photo, along with Adam’s older sister Bethany, who was one of Holly’s three bridesmaids.
Other well-known names on the couple’s guestlist included Victoria and David Beckham, along with their children Romeo, Cruz and Harper, former MasterChef: The Professionals judge Marcus Wareing, and Dragons’ Den star Sara Davies.
Gordon said on social media that he “couln’t be a prouder dad” before the ceremony, which was one of the most popular weddings of the year, adding, “I’m truly lucky to be able to walk this beautiful bride down the aisle and gain an incredible son-in-law.”
Holly and Adam, who got engaged in September 2024, were accompanied by her parents and mother, Tana Ramsay, in an interview that came with the glamorous Vogue photos.
She told the magazine, “We’re going to Mauritius to just lie by the sea,” adding that the present was from my parents. Adam and I had to explain that we weren’t planning our honeymoon in a 25-meter pool.
The groom’s family reportedly split up because Caroline, the groom’s mother, wasn’t present for Holly’s hen do at the opulent Soho Farmhouse. Louise Williams, Adam’s aunt, posted her thoughts on Instagram following the incident, tweeting, “@hollyramsayy I’m so glad you had a great hen do.
You deserve that, bride. However, you made a woman who I have loved and still love dearly feel hurt and divided.
