In the midst of their bitter feud with the Olympian’s family, Gordon Ramsay has broken his silence about Holly’s wedding to Olympic athlete Adam Peaty. Gordon, who made his explosive father-of-the-bride speech on This Morning, defended it and called it “perfect.”
The famous chef made it out of the “tough” job at the lavish wedding in Bath Abbey in December at the star-studded nuptials. Being the father of three daughters, you dream of that moment, Gordon told presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, acknowledging his “hot mess” in his jaw-dropping speech. The speech was flawless, but I was a hot mess. Although it was a challenging gig, you must be warm and upbeat.
His eldest daughter Tilly continued, “I was sat in his room for an hour while he was just reading through it,” referring to the speech, which “made everyone cry”. There were no changes necessary, just like going through the entire process. It was flawless. Everyone cried as a result.

She and Adam both looked so happy, but it was also heartfelt. We all had a wonderful time together. The Strictly Come Dancing star continued, “perfecting” the day.
In the midst of the ongoing conflict, only one of Adam’s family members attended the wedding ceremony, which Holly and Adam tied the knot on December 27.
With only his sister Bethany present, Adam’s mother and a few other family members were uninvited from his memorable day.
The rift reportedly started when the swimming star’s mother, Caroline, purchased a wedding gown that the couple disapproved of, before Caroline was excluded from Holly’s glamorous hen do at Soho Farmhouse with Tana Ramsay and Victoria Beckham.
In response to the Ramsays’ ongoing conflict with the Peatys, Gordon’s “perfect” speech at the wedding reportedly featured a number of digs at Adam’s family.
In the middle of the conflict, The Sun claims that The Kitchen Nightmares star was reportedly rehearsed saying that his wife Tana would be a good mother to them both.
Gordon gushed about Holly’s beauty and said, “Look at Tana, that’s what you have to look forward to,” to Adam. And he yells, “Shame you don’t have the same,” to Holly, 25, in a sly dig at Adam’s parents.
Following a family feud, it was reported that the Olympic swimmer had uninvited the majority of his side of the family in the days leading up to their wedding. His parents Mark and Caroline, who were also his “heartbroken,” included.
As a result, Adam’s family was the only ones with Bethany, who played one of Holly’s bridesmaids alongside her sisters Megan, 27, and Tilly, 24, who also played the part in the starring role.
Adam also asserted in a speech at the wedding that he would “always choose his wife, Holly.”
Brooklyn Beckham’s family friend used the phrase in his emotional message last year after their disagreement with his parents, which is uncanny.
The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn, 26, was notably absent from the lavish wedding reception in December. According to reports, the amateur chef was trying to stay away from his parents, who he hasn’t seen in almost a year.
After Brooklyn ignored his parents’ birthdays and Mother’s Day last year, there were suspicions raised that everything was going well in the Beckham camp. The self-proclaimed “nutter in the kitchen” has pledged to always choose “his wife Nicola Peltz” despite months of rumors as he broke his silence on the Instagram fallout.
