Celebrity chef’s £20 million investment in five businesses at London’s 22 Bishopsgate is the subject of a new Netflix documentary.

In a trailer for his upcoming Netflix series, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay reveals how the pressure he felt about his most ambitious project “scared” him.

The chef’s nine-month journey, which included three restaurants, a bar, and a cooking school, was followed by the six-part documentary, which follows the Michelin-starred chef from London’s 22 Bishopsgate through to his “his biggest restaurant venture to date.”

The 59-year-old voiced his concerns about the project in a Netflix trailer, saying that he had “so much riding on it.” The five businesses that are located within the 62-storey tower have recently received a $ 20 million investment from Ramsay, 58.

He claims in the trailer that “this reputationally and financially is a huge factor.” You must excel over excel. I’m terrified of it. He continues, “This thing is going to take steel balls.”

Ramsay jokes in the trailer that he might end his career after finishing the project, saying, “I think I might retire after Bishopsgate.” The celebrity also addresses the strain of launching five separate businesses, saying, “I’m f****** if 22 Bishopgate was to fail.

The Lucky Cat Bar, a rooftop terrace that serves cocktails and late-night entertainment, is located next to the tower, just opposite Ramsay’s, which has the title of London’s highest restaurant.

Additionally, the chef has opened the contemporary European eatery Bread Street Kitchen &amp, Bar, and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High, which is described as a 12-person chef’s table experience. Additionally, he established the Gordon Ramsay Academy, which offers classes in mixology and culinary skills to members of the general public.

Ramsay discusses his formative years and his recollections of his Northamptonshire upbringing in the trailer.

He claims, “I was raised in Daventry on a council estate. My second-hand pants still had holes in them from my school uniform. You can always turn to the fear that you’ll lose it. I’ve since lost (Michelin) stars and shut down numerous restaurants throughout my career. That serves as fuel for my tank.

Additionally, the chef’s attempts to balance his work and his responsibilities as a father of six will be featured in the series. Tana Ramsay, his wife of nearly three decades, appears in the trailer and describes her husband as a “dreamer”.

Tilly, who appears in the trailer and describes their six children as “the way dad is in the kitchen, in a stressful environment,” says the pair.

Holly Ramsay Peaty, his second-eldest daughter, is also a model, according to the trailer. In a lavish ceremony held at Bath Abbey in December, the 26-year-old wed Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty.

Following rumors of a family rift, which Peaty’s mother Caroline wasn’t invited to Holly’s hen do, the wedding ceremony took place. Ramsay’s explosive personality as a TV chef in shows like Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares and Hell’s Kitchen has earned him acclaim.
