From Call the Midwife to Amandaland, find out what’s on TV this Christmas with our bumper 14-day TV listings guide as well as Love TV, free inside your Daily Mirror on Saturday, December 13

The holiday season is all about extravagance and now we’re bringing you a double helping of your favourite Christmas TV guide!

This Saturday (December 13) you’ll get your normal Love TV magazine PLUS a special double issue, ‘TV Christmas Crackers’. This 14-day guide to all the festive films and seasonal specials will make sure you don’t miss a moment of Christmas magic.

Call The Midwife is appointment viewing on Christmas Day and the midwives are ringing the changes as Sister Julienne and her team head to Hong Kong, where a mission house has collapsed.

Of course there will still be a traditional white Christmas back home as Trixie is back in Poplar with her stepson Jonty – and a gorgeous street parade takes centre stage.

Anton Du Beke reveals his hopes for Christmas as a new gang of six celebrities take to the dance floor. Goggleboxer Scarlett Moffatt, Gladiator Jodie Ounsley (aka Fury), actor Nicholas Bailey, comic Babatunde Aléshé, Westlife singer Brian McFadden and All Saints star Melanie Blatt are all set to salsa.

Fans of The Gruffalo will be delighted to discover Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler are bringing more childhood magic to the screens with their book The Scarecrow’s Wedding becoming their latest adaptation. Rob Brydon leads the cast once more, this time with Jessie Buckley and Domhall Gleeson as the happy Scarecouple.

On Christmas Eve there’s a new Christmas movie from Channel 4 featuring the now grown up Inbetweeners star James Buckley. James stars as Nick, and Lennie Rush is his 16-year-old son Chris, who still believes in Father Christmas and goes on a mission to prove Santa is real.

For Absolutely Fabulous fans there’s a Christmas treat in store when Jennifer Saunders guest stars alongside her old co-star Joanna Lumley in Amandaland.

The drama continues with festive features on All Creatures Great and Small and Death In Paradise, while Ant and Dec bring the fun by adding Amanda Holden to Limitless Win and Bradley Walsh heads up a tinsel-tastic episode of Blankety Blank.

Our brilliant TV guides even include New Year which features blockbuster dramas including Harlan Coben’s Run Away on Netflix, plus the return of ITV thriller Red Eye. But bigger than that, we’ve also got The Night Manager launching on New Year’s Day – nine years after Tom Hiddleston first brought Jonathan Pine onto our screens.

But that’s not all! Also on New Year’s Day you’ll get another murderous helping of The Traitors!
