After revealing she’s already purchased Puma’s Speedcats in four different colors, Georgia Toffolo has officially declared sporty ballet pumps the season’s shoe.
Although autumn is slowly creeping towards us, there’s still a glimmer of summer in the year, and it will (hopefully) be a while before we’re in the trenches of rain and snow. That’s why Georgia Toffolo has declared her Puma Speedcat Ballet Flats the “shoe of the season.”
The sporty aesthetic of ballet flats makes them surprisingly simple to style and can be worn with anything, from jeans and leggings to midi dresses and skirts. Georgia admitted she had already purchased the £70 ballet flats in four different colors because she adores them so much.
The Nobody’s Child blue mini dress by Vicky Pattison has been discounted from £79 to £36, and it is quickly selling.

The former Made in Chelsea actress paired leopard print leggings, a cropped T-shirt, and a sweatshirt with the silver pair of Puma Speedcat Ballet Flats for a day of running errands. You could easily get away with ballet pumps at work as much as you could for brunch or a night out, and they combine the comfort and street style of trainers for long, busy days on your feet.
Georgia’s silver pair of Puma Speedcat Ballet Flats are available in eight colors. Red, black, and white are also available to choose from, each pair having white design details and elasticated straps over the arches. These keep them in place while maintaining their athletic aesthetic while also giving a nod to classic ballet shoes.
However, Puma isn’t the only company to have succeeded in creating sporty ballet flat designs. The Adidas Originals Taekwondo Mei Ballet Trainers, available for purchase for $85, are available in two different versions of their own.
They come in five colors, and they have lace-up fastenings that wrap around your legs for a truly ballet-inspired appearance. The lace-up style was replaced with a velcro strap across the arches in Adidas’ Samba Mary Jane Trainers, which cost £80 and come in red, black, and two different white colors.
For just £137, you can purchase the Round-Toe Satin Sneakerina from Vivaia. They have the same soft, elastic-like front and soft, satin elastic sides as traditional ballet slippers, and are soft, flexible, like ballet shoes.
However, they also come in full and half sizes, 3 to 8 and are a good place to find the best fit if you want to follow in Georgia’s footsteps (literally speaking). The Puma Speedcat Ballet Flats are available in all eight colorways right away.
