proposal that is romantic
Back in 2023, Georgia began dating former BrewDog CEO James Watt after being set up on a blind date by friends. In October last year the pair got engaged during a romantic trip to Greece for Georgia’s 30th birthday when James popped the question with a stunning eight-carat triple-diamond ring, estimated to be worth £200,000.
Just last month the TV personality surprised fans by revealing she’d tied the knot in Gardenstown, in the county of Aberdeenshire, in the same church James’s grandparents were married in. “1st March will forever be the best day of my life – the day I became your wife. We eloped!,” she revealed.
“Guests: whoever could get here with 48 hours notice! Temperature: 6°C. Wind: 17 knots North Westerly. Location: North East Scotland. To our family and friends who aren’t with us, we will celebrate with you soonest!”
Following the special occasion, the pair released a series of unconventional wedding photos, including one of James dressed in fishing waders and another showing Georgia, wearing a cream fleece dress, holding some freshly-caught lobsters.
Although their wedding may have been less extravagant, some reports claim that their honeymoon was more lavish. The couple reportedly had a honeymoon at Aberdeenshire’s Fife Arms Hotel, where rooms could cost up to £3, 000 per night.
Sprawling pad in London
Georgia now spends her time split between London and Scotland after moving in with James. With 1.8 million followers on Instagram, the content creator has occasionally given fans a peek inside the pair’s stunning London apartment, which is situated on the banks of the Thames. Making the most of the beautiful location, the apartment has floor-to-ceiling windows which let in plenty of light and allow for panoramic views across London.
The former Made in Chelsea star was also questioned about where she was at her happiest during a recent Q&, A on her Instagram Story. She responded by describing the home she shares with James as having a special place in her heart.
“I’m definitely happiest in our garden in Scotland.” In a field directly opposite our home, James planted thousands of trees in the most breathtaking garden. Their progress has been so impressive! She explained that being in the natural world is the absolute opposite of our daily lives in London because it is so hectic.
shocking bank balance
The TV personality recently shared a screenshot of their current account, with the balance reading zero, to deter critics who had claimed she was being with James “for his money.” She laughed, “Going off the state of our joint bank account, I would say probably not.”
Georgia has previously made headlines for disclosing details about her relationship. She revealed earlier this year that she and James conducted quarterly relationship reviews to discuss their deepest feelings for one another, their relationship, and what could be done to improve. She said, “This is the savage one where we talk about things we could improve or want to give feedback.”
She continued, “If you don’t nip in the bud these tiny, completely unimportant things like your lip balm,” they could turn into bigger, more significant things that might have an impact on your relationship. I highly suggest. I need to stop spending so much, so he politely says, “We should do more budgeting,” which is the one that consistently comes up on James’ part.
