Galatasaray in talks over loan for Spurs’ Bissouma

Tottenham are in talks with Turkish club Galatasaray about signing defensive midfielder Yves Bissouma on loan. Bissouma has not yet featured for Spurs this season.

Due to persistent lateness, the Mali international was excluded from the squad for this month’s Uefa Super Cup game against Paris St-Germain.

Due to an injury, Bissouma was unable to play in Saturday’s 2-0 win over Manchester City and was also unavailable for Spurs’ Premier League opener against Burnley.

The 28-year-old joined Spurs from Brighton in a deal worth £25 million plus add-ons in 2022, where he has made 100 appearances, including starting the team’s 1-0 Europa League victory over Manchester United in May.
